Terrible Experience - Expired Products and Rude Customer Service

Yesterday, I went shopping at this store, and when I got home, I realized that one of the products I had purchased was over two months past its expiration date. This expired product was mixed in with all the other items for sale on the shelves.

Today, I called the store to ask for an explanation, and I was met with nothing but rudeness and attitude. The store owner outright lied to me, claiming that the product had been set aside and not mixed with the rest, which is completely false because I personally picked it from the shelf along with other items that were right next to it.
This not the first time this shop sells me outdated food so i decided to call them.

Not only did they not apologize for their mistake, but they also failed to acknowledge the fact that selling expired products is illegal and a serious public health issue.

On top of that, Just in case anyone finds this helpfull, there’s a store nearby and also one in Nerja that sells the exact same products, so I won’t be returning at kruideniertje. I will gladly take my business elsewhere, where they actually follow the law and treat their customers with respect.

I will never set foot in this store again due to their terrible customer service and blatant disregard for consumer protection laws. Absolutely unacceptable!

I'm sure they will respond to this review with the same attitude they gave me, but I know my experience is real and completely unacceptable. As a shop owner myself, I know the rights of my customers and my obligations as someone who sells edible products. This store clearly doesn't.

Kleine supermarkt die heel moeilijk te vinden was. Je moet namelijk een afgesloten appartementen complex in. Gelukkig waren er aardige mensen die ons binnen lieten en uitlegden dat je op een bel kon drukken. Trap af naar beneden. Nog een trap af en daar was de supermarkt. Door advertenties op fb hadden wij meer verwacht. Wij komen niet uit torremolinos dus waren benieuwd hoe deze winkel was. Spaans sprekend personeel hadden wij niet verwacht. Was voor ons gelukkig geen probleem. Assortiment viel ons eerlijk gezegd tegen.
