This DICK'S Sporting Goods located in Waterbury I must say is one of the best I have visited the service and atmosphere is top notch I mean from the start you stepped in the store all the employees are so courteous and polite specially the shoes department I had a big help from Deejay(Dj) awesome kid, he helped on getting the right shoe for my nephew it was the perfect Christmas gift and he loves them shoes. If you looking to buy sporting goods I highly recommend visiting this store located in Waterbury I had a great experience.

Went there to get a couple pairs of hiking boots they have just about nothing. 3 different pairs of so-called hiking boots/junk and about the same for work boots totally wasted my morning driving there. Seems like their only concern is running shoes? Will never go back

Today I experienced one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. A young man named Adam immediately approached me and asked how he could help. The product I was looking for wasn’t in store but he then provided a solution by letting me know he would be able to order for the socks to be delivered to my home with $0 for shipping. In addition I decided to buy a pair of dumbbells — an hour later I noticed I purchased the wrong set and went back and the same young man was there to greet me to help me with my exchange. He then helped bring the heavy Bowflex dumbbells to my car. As a man whose been in banking for many years I truly believe providing exceptional service is something that comes from the heart and is executed 100% of the time for 100% of the people one comes in contact with and you can just tell this young man gets it! Extraordinary service — you are appreciated Adam.

I would give this facility 5 stars, all because of the manager by the name of Jamie I won't. He could of helped me get my fishing license since he helped me look at some glasses. This man just looked at me after called one of the girls from a different area to help me. He was on the computer that the girl used to print out my license the Manger was able to help with glasses but couldn't handle that. If I go back in this store and I see him working I'm walking out. His customer service wasn't great at all, he walked away from the employee and myself to walk around 2 more minutes with me wouldn't have been an issue.
